Brush Brush Cocomong iPhone App Review: Teach Kids to Brush!
Tucker Cummings | On 10, Dec 2013
Brush Brush Cocomong uses a fun story and animation to take kids through the six steps of proper tooth brushing. Establishing good oral hygiene habits early in life can help kids avoid cavities and dental problems when they grow up.
Cocomong and his friends inhabit a fantasy world inside of a refrigerator. All of the characters are a combination of a cuddly animal and a popular food item. For example, Cocomong is a monkey/sausage creation, Ahrome is a boiled egg/rabbit mix, and Ohmong is Cocomong’s fried shrimp/dog pet. It’s quirky and a little weird, but these creative characters are sure to amuse young children.
This app helps kids to use correct amount of toothpaste, how to properly brush the teeth, and even explains how to rinse after brushing. The app also includes a fun game that allows kids to feed Cocomong and then brush his teeth.
Brush Brush Cocomong also includes offers a 12 minute episode of Cocomong and his friends. The app also includes interactive flash cards that help with reading comprehension. Each card shows a word, and can be tapped to hear Cocomong say it aloud.
If you have a kid who is nervous about visiting the dentist, or who just needs a little push to develop good brushing habits, Brush Brush Cocomong is a must-buy app. Little kids hate to brush their teeth, but this clever app makes it fun!
