Do you love Christmas? Do you love mini-games and adventures? Do you have an oddly specific fascination with Santa based crime dramas? If you answered yes to any of those questions, but especially if you answered yes to the last question, then Nevosoft has another great casual game for you!

Christmasville: missing Santa takes users to the North Pole in search of Santa. His disappearance threatens Christmas, and it’s up the player to solve a series of mini-games and puzzles in order to solve the mystery. Users play the role of Private Detective Arthur Knight, who has been brought to the North Pole by the Abominable Snowman to help out with the case.

In order to move forward, Christmasville has players attempt to solve puzzles and seek-and-find puzzles that are the staples of casual gaming. Along the way they will be introduced to a variety of favorite Christmastime and fairytale characters. Completing the mini-games results in the discovery of a series of encrypted notes from Santa that explain in small chunks what’s happened to the jolly gift giver.

Christmasville has classic Nevosoft styling; a fun and entertaining appearance that has become the hallmark of their series of well executed casual games. The crisp graphics often appear like a storybook, which is particularly well suited for this type of story. The characters are great looking, and really add a special level of detail to a tale full of favorite characters, many of which will be instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with the classic Christmas stories.

The music is festive and appropriate for the settings, which is another staple of fantastic Nevosoft games. The game isn’t free to play until completion, but you can download the game for free and complete the first few levels. To get the full experience you will need to purchase the full version, which for just $2.99 gives you access to all of the levels and lets you complete the story.
