Google has officially announced its 'Android Pay' App to work in the UK

Google has announced on the Androids official blog that its Android Pay app is now available in the UK. That’s right, the Android Pay app can now be used in the UK for purchasing products and goods physically. The app is to allow Android Pay users to make a payment simple, easy, fast and secure for buying things at a store. It’s just as if using a credit card of yours. So if you forget your wallet at home, not to worry as the Android Pay app has you covered. Google has said that the Android Pay had been available in the US since last year. However, the Android Pay is still working on getting the app working in other countries. Google has said to get the Android Pay working in other countries soon.

What is so special about Android Pay App

The Android Pay app payment is surely accepted at your favourite shops and restaurants in the UK such as Boots, Starbucks, and Waitrose. You can pay for the Tube, Bus and trains with the Transport of London too. All you need to do is tap your phone with the machine which accepts the payment, and the payment has been processed. It’s that easy and simple. Android Pay is always to add its system to your favourite apps such as Fancy, Hotel Tonight, Kickstarter and many others.

Google has said to launch Android Pay Day which will update you with the latest special offers each month to make your last week better before your pay day. Starbucks UK will be one of them to reward Android Pay users in the UK. More offers are to be added to the app in the coming months.
