There has been much speculation around the iPhone 5S, its features, and most importantly the release date. It has been widely anticipated that the iPhone 5S is to make an appearance in the summer, and history dictates it happens at WWDC. Now, it seems WWDC 2013 has reportedly been scheduled for June 2013, and consequently the iPhone 5S release date.

The news comes from a Japanese news site Macotakara who claims they have reportedly got word of the WWDC 2013 date. According to the source, WWDC 2013 will hit on June 20th 2013 where Apple will announce both their new iPhone 5S, which will be available in July, and a lower-end entry level iPhone model due for August.

The Special event of next iPhone was performed on June 20, and the Japanese periodical MacFan has published the rumor that iPhone 5S will be put on the market in July and low-priced edition iPhone will be put on the market in August. In the special event, it is predicted rather than the hardware that an illustration of iOS which adopted a new design may take the lead.

A June launch would in fact tie in with previous iPhone launches and WWDC dates, and with Macotakara having a decent track record in Apple rumors, this speculation has a fair bit of weight behind it.

In addition, TechCrunch have apparently received a confidential presentation that hints at a 2013 product plan and a few interesting pieces of information about the iPhone 5.

The presentation catalog, which details new cases and chargers for iPhone devices as well as Qi-enabled wireless chargers and dongles for the iPhone 5, points to a firm June 2013 launch of what they are calling the iPhone 5S.

With numerous products lined up by Google, and other manufacturers, due for release prior to June, assuming the June 20th WWDC date, Apple will undoubtedly adhere to their 5 day turnaround time for shipping their new iPhone 5S device.

So set your calendars guys, June 20th is WWDC 2013 and the release of the iPhone 5S, allegedly.
