Faker Resigns For 3 More Years with League Team T1

A professional League of Legends player from South Korea named Faker has just re-signed for three more years with his current team, T1.

Faker has been dubbed the “Unkillable Demon King” and “The Greatest League Player” by his fans and most of the League community.

In 2013, SK Telecom acquired him, and he is now the mid-lane on SK Telecom T1, which competes in the League of Legends Championship.

In his seven appearances, Faker has three World Championship victories to his credit and has never lost before the semi-finals. He ensures he is better than ever as each Worlds season approaches.

Many pros, lol smurfs, and highly ranked players never get this far, let alone perform as well as he has on the international stage.

When he was younger, Faker began his career in the MOBA genre. Chaos was a custom map in the Warcraft 3 game that served as his introduction to MOBAs. He also loved solving puzzles, which significantly influenced his future career.

In 2011, he played League of Legends for the first time. Faker swiftly attained the top rank in this game after falling in love with it.

Even though it’s clear now, Faker wasn’t always the Faker we know today, and he was taking a big chance. Dropping everything to pursue an esports career is a revolutionary all-in approach that involves giving up all he had previously.

Faker’s hunger for knowledge persisted as his skills advanced. He didn’t take long to become enthusiastic about growing his play.

SK Telecom T1 eventually won the 2013 World Championship, and Faker became a new high-level player in the League of Legends competitive scene. In the same year, Faker defeated Ryu in the well-known Zed vs. Zed fight, one of the best outplays in League of Legends. People began to realize that Faker was in a class by himself.

Since 2013, Faker and SKT T1 have captured the world championship. They were able to grow their fan base, and many people were slowly becoming aware of what the ‘GOAT’ Faker could do on the international stage.

In 2017, SKT, led by Faker, T1 faced a disappointing defeat against Samsung Galaxy in a rematch of the previous year’s grand finale. This loss marked the first time in history that SKT failed to win a competition. This loss showed that SKT’s dominance in international League of Legends events had weakened.

The 2022 Worlds Championship is one of the toughest championships as they battled face-to-face with DRX – a well-connected team to T1. All of their games were intense, and the team, together with Faker, showed the world that they were still a worthy opponent to look for even if they hadn’t won the championship.

Faker never let his fans down and remains true to his title as the “Unkillable Demon King” and “The Greatest of All Time.”

Faker renewed his three-year contract with T1 in a social media post from T1 on November 28. Sources close to Blix.GG revealed that Faker would look into options in numerous areas, including

North America’s (NA) League of Legends Championship Series, after his initial contract with T1 expired on November 21.

Fans were sure he would remain with his present team despite this raising many questions because, even in the past, he had looked at his free agent choices only to re-sign with T1. Notably, Faker agreed to a three-year deal.

We will see what is next with T1 and Faker as the new year starts and LCS opens up its new season.
