Samsung ATIV S gets Philippine release date, pricing

If you’re interested in trying out Windows Phone 8 but are a little put-off by the loud colors that the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC Phone 8X are available in, then you may want to check out Samsung’s Windows Phone 8 device — the ATIV S.

A quick glance at the Samsung ATIV S will immediately reveal its design similarities with the Galaxy S3. Yugatech notes that the device  “features a lot of design elements that are also found in the Galaxy S III like the unique Titanium Gray color scheme and the brushed metal effect on the back.” It’s not really that surprising, considering that the ATIV S is meant to be the Galaxy S3’s  Windows Phone 8 counterpart. This means that you’ll also be getting premium specs with the device. Check them out:

According to reports,  the Samsung ATIV S will be available in the Philippines this December, just in time for people looking for the perfect stocking stuffer, and will retail for around Php 25,000 or around $607.

We’ll keep an eye on release schedules and pricing for other territories. Be sure to check back for more news on the Samsung ATIV S!
