The Nokia 3310 is making a comeback at this year’s MWC event, but whatever you’ve been hearing about the phone being the exact same device as the one that was released years ago is not true, at least according to this new rumor. Years ago, the Nokia 3310 fit well with users because there were no smartphones at that time and age, but according to Ubergizmo, HMD Global, the company that is going to be handling all the manufacturing of the phone is going to change the design of the device.
It is going to look similar to feature phones that we use in this timeline, but it will still retain several properties of the original. For one thing, it is still expected to be a solid contender for the most durable smartphone of 2017, but it is going to be much thinner than its predecessor. The report also states that users are not going to get the same keypad, but a different one. The battery timings of the upcoming Nokia 3310 were not revealed either.
The original Nokia 3310 could remain powered on for days and because you could replace its battery with ease, you could easily swap out the original with a fresh new one and extend your battery life even further. It is possible that a removable battery is still part of the deal, but there are other changes that the report claims have been added. The display will finally be able to give off several more colors than the monochrome one, but that could mean you will not be able to experience the same battery life that you did on the previous 3310.

- Yellow
