Samsung Galaxy S3 64GB Pre-Order Available in UK

Samsung Galaxy S3

UK mobile technology retailer Clove has opened up pre-ordersof the 64GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on their website, but there’s a catch. According to the blog post that announced the pre-order, the company doesn’t expect to have the devices for two months, if they get them at all. It all comes down to reaching a minimum number of units for order, and overall interest in the 64GB version of the immensely popular phone.

Samsung Galaxy S3 64GB Pre-Sales in UK – Retailer May Not Get Device

There’s no fear of having your money withdrawn and then not receiving a device, the retailer isn’t charging the purchaser until they are certain they will be getting the device and have a date set for release. Plus, the company will be asking customers to confirm their purchase at the time of release to avoid any trouble with randomly being charged at an inopportune time of the month. However, even when the device is confirmed and purchase is made, there will likely still be a 5-6 week lead time.

How much will all of this storage set you back? As it stands, Clove is asking £500 (£600 including VAT) for this version of the Galaxy S3. For that price you get the first smartphone to offer 128GB of combined total storage, including the maximum expansion of the microSD slot. Here are the other specs from the device, in case you haven’t seen them enough yet:
