Online video service Crackle offers full length TV shows and movies from Sony along with original web series and other media content. While the increasingly popular company has offered an Android app since October, there is no way to view Crackle.com using iOS devices.

That’s because Crackle utilizes Adobe’s Flash platform to stream video and there is no mobile app suited for iOS yet.

That’s certainly going to change soon. When visiting Crackle.com using any iDevice, users are greeted by a promising message that assures users that an app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch is in the works.

While the online video site is free use on a PC or Mac, the Android app requires a $4.99 subscription to view premium content. The iOS version will most likely share a similar subscription fee.
