Fruit Ninja is the massively successful fruit assassination game developed by Halfbrick. How successful does “massively” mean? Well in this case it means about 20 million and change.

Halfbrick’s Phil Larson revealed that Fruit Ninja has reached a combined 20 million downloads across all platforms (this includes the iOS systems as well as Android and Windows Phone 7). Larson admitted that this figure does include the free Fruit Ninja Lite demo, but the number of downloads for the full game is still quite impressive, at over 6 million purchases. In light of the game’s popularity, Halfbrick is currently working on a version for Facebook.

Looks like Fruit Ninja has quite the appeal. Get it? Fruit? A peel? High five! …Anyone?
