The Diamond Scale Android App is a well designed, one-of-a-kid app which turns your Android device into an accurate, fully functioning scale, capable of accurately weighing small objects such as diamonds, coins, jewels, and so forth.
Diamond Scale works with any device with a built-in gyroscope, which is any modern smart phone running Android or iOS. Essentially, it turns it into a functioning digital scale.
To use the app, you’ll need an inflated bag, and a coin – or something similar, to rest your object on. A straightforward user guide is included, which ensures that pretty much anybody can weigh nearly any small object using their smart phone.

Diamond Scale is an extremely simple, yet very well designed app. The user interface is easy to use, and there are no confusing menus to get lost in. The app seems to run very well, and genuinely works when used correctly, showing no errors, or drastically wrong weight measures.
The app has a professional, elegant and minimalist design, which certainly adds to its appeal. A jeweller would certainly not be embarrassed to begin using it in front of a customer or client.
However, the need for an inflatable bag and a normal coin greatly detract from the professionalism that the design brings. Balancing your smart phone and an old coin on an inflated bag doesn’t exactly give the user an executive experience.

To conclude, Diamond Scale really is a unique app, allowing smart phone users to accurately weigh small objects for the very first time, in a reasonable easy fashion. It is easy to use, and the on-screen instructions make everything clear.
Although, being easy to use doesn’t necessarily make it convenient. Unless you’re packing an inflatable bag with you, Diamond Scale will give you very inaccurate results, if at all. However, if used correctly, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
