Apple has announced that sales of the iPad have topped three million units in just 80 days.
The figures show that sales of the iPad may be accelerating, with Apple reaching the three million mark about 10 days earlier than it took them to hit the first and second million, which were reached at Day 28 and Day 60 respectively.
In the official press release, Apple CEO Steve Jobs said that ““We’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more people around the world, including those in nine more countries next month.”
