Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong has come a long way since he was stood at the top of the screen throwing barrels down at a character that looked suspiciously like Mario. Arguably the game that led to Mario Bros. Donkey Kong has caused obsessions as well as nostalgia. We’ve seen him come and go in different guises throughout the history of Nintendo, but in the end it is always the same old giant ape whether he is in a platform game or driving a Kart.

Slot machines are a retro game that predates even the video game itself. While you may think that there isn’t much hope for such a simple game on computers, this is far from the truth. If you don’t miss fun with bingo games you’ll know that online casinos have seen a rise in the slot machine games, in many different variations. From the original three row slots to the more complicated five row ones, online slots are becoming more popular all the time. With the use of themes such as Game of Thrones and Marvel Superheroes, online slots are anything but boring.

Pac-Man is a character like Donkey Kong, and has been around since 1980. He may be a simple looking hero, but with addictive gaming and the right amount of challenge, he has stood the test of time. Much like Donkey Kong he also has a family featuring in off-shoots from the main game, and has even starred in a Hollywood movie.

There are many retro titles to be played, and it is becoming easier to play them all the time. Just because technology moves on, thankfully that doesn’t mean that these games have to be consigned to the past.
