UK official police website subdomain appears to have been hacked and defaced by Albanian hackers claiming to be codenamed “nofawkX-al”. The hacker had gained unauthorized access to the website allowing the hacker to add his own page on the index web page. According to the deface page added by the hacker, no political or special reason appears to be behind the hack.
The subdomain that has been defaced of the website appears to be about Police Public Bravery Awards. We aren’t sure if any data had been stolen by the Albanian hackers, However, this hack surely proves that there had been poor security on the UK police website and servers.
