It appears as though one of Apple’s internal testing applications has turned up in the iOS App Store. A search for “gamestore” will reveal an application available for 99 cents.
The internal app, which offers in app purchases, appears to be some sort of test application. The in app purchases, at the moment, do not seem to have any function.

No one is sure why this app has turned up in the iOS App Store. According to MacRumors, the application is from 2009, when Apple first launched in app purchases.
