According to a report by SmartHouse, Apple’s new TV will launch at the end of 2012 and will come in three different screen sizes, ranging from 32 to 55 inches.
The report cites Japanese sources who claim that a “major Japanese company” will be manufacturing the Apple television, which is in keeping with previous reports that Sharp may be producing panels for Apple’s first foray into the TV market.
The Apple TV is expected to be powered by a custom A6 processor – the same chip which is rumored to be at the heart of the iPad 3 and iPhone 5.
