If you’re looking to buy an iPad 2, now’s the time to do it. According to Apple’s official website, shipping times for every variation of the device have dropped to just 3-5 days. This is great news to hear, especially since customers faced five week shipping times just four months ago when the second iPad first launched.
While shipping times from Apple have improved considerably, the same cannot be said for other retailers that carry the device. Both Best Buy and Walmart list the device as “unavailable” while both AT&T and MacMall claim their shipping time is between 1 and 2 weeks.
So, while its only a matter of time until stock improves across the board, stick to the official Apple site when buying an iPad 2 online.
