Chronic Wire has posted pictures, via Twitter, of a third party case designated as a ‘Commuter Series iPhone 4S’ case. He additionally claims that OtterBox has manufactured at least 3 million iPhone 4S covers, suggesting that a new iPhone is on the way and it isn’t be the iPhone 5.
While Chronic wasn’t able to obtain an actual picture of the case, he successfully snapped a shop of the box it came in. At any rate, the images on the box show the volume buttons on the right side of the device above the SIM card slot. The iPhone 4’s volume buttons could be found on the left side of the handset.
Technology enthusiasts will find out soon enough – Apple is expected to hold their annual media event on October 4th.
