We’ve all heard about iPhone 4’s new retina display, but very few have actually seen the screen up close and personal. Blogger Robert Scoble managed to get his hands on the 4th generation iPhone and posted photos and a video this morning of exactly what the high-resolution screen looks like in the flesh.

The screen is 326 pixels-per-inch, four times the pixel density of the third version of the phone. Scoble describes the screen as “the best one I’ve seen — by far.”

Check out video of the screen in action here.
