Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab A Plus are tagged as mid-range tablets, the latter is known as the first Samsung tablet that is not part of the Note lineup that will arrive with an S Pen, Sam Mobile noted. The Galaxy Tab Active, which was launched recently, came with a stylus but it is more of a C Pen than an S Pen.

  1. I wish Samsung would offer a 1080P screen. Detail really takes a hit with 720P. I like they are using a snapdragon. I may be able to live with 720P with the 8″ version but not sure 1.5 ram is enough. The 9.7 screen will look like crap being the pixel density will be way too low. The processor may be ok depending on how they bloat it up and how busy a version of touch wiz they use. I have a galaxy tab 2 10.1 with 720 screen. Its terrible. Very slow and crappy screen.

What I want is something like the 8.4s that has an amazing screen and is fast.. no stutter. But battery life is poor on the 8s and Samsung’s exynos processor takes too long to charge. Total deal killer showstopper issue for me.

Ideally what I want from Samsung is an 8″ tablet with 1080P amoled screen. The quad resolution screen they use on the S sucks up too much battery and its slow to charge the exynos. Ipads are getting upwards to 15 hours on a charge. Samsung is really lacking in battery life and making devices fluid. So they need to max the battery size, reduce bloat (cut out the Touch Wiz)

So what I want is 1080P amoled, minimum 10-11 hours with hard use, rapid charge snapdragon processor. I will never buy another galaxy tab that stutters with the horrid touch wiz. Are you listening Samsung? Wonder why your sales are bombing?

I have a moto X phone with very close to naked android and it is fast and fluid. Samsung need’s to start moving towards pure Android. This is what consumers want. Touch Wiz has a bad reputation for a very good reason. TW will bog down with this 1.2 GHz processor.
