SportOn is simple to use: download the free app, search for your favorite sport, team or specific athlete, and download. Once you’ve got the video ringtones, you can assign them to contacts (or as your general ringtone) the same as you would with any other ringtone on your Android device.
Your first ringtone download is free; after that, SportOn video ring tones are available for purchase individually, or at a 50% discount with a monthly subscription.
SportOn does require an internet connection to download and “set” the video, but once that’s done the videos will fire up even when you’re offline. Additionally, SportOn is only called to action when you receive a notification, which saves on your iPhone’s battery and memory.
Also, as previously stated, SportOn requires you to purchase individual video ringtones or have a monthly subscription. This isn’t a deal-breaker for many ringtone fans, but I personally prefer to create my own ringtones and upload them to my device.
