Zooper is an iPhone game developed by GoManGo. Free for a limited time only, this match-3 game is intuitive and packed with cute animals!
The premise behind Zooper is quite fanciful. A menagerie of animals have been imprisoned in a space laboratory. To free them from the cruel scientists who stole them, you must match three like animals together, which allows them to “warp” out and escape to Earth.
Unlike match-3 games that are built on a grid system, Zooper is a bit more freeform. You can tilt the device from side to side to move the animal balls around, allowing you to quickly find new matches. Do note that you can only tilt from side to side: tilting the device upside down won’t work.
As with any match-3 game worth their salt, there are some interesting bonus power-ups. Bombs and electric shocks (and even magnets!) are used to keep the game from getting stale. These powerful tools are created when you match four or more animals, and they shake up the board quickly!
The game is extremely fast-paced, with a constant influx of new animals. If you are the kind of casual gamer who gets stressed out easily, this may not be the right game for you. That being said, if you like a game that keeps you on your toes, this is definitely it.
