We reported earlier this week that a Crackle iOS application was in the works. As expected, Sony has launched a Crackle video app, and it’s more refined than some would expect. While Crackle may not share the same audience as Netflix and Hulu, the service offers a strong lineup of movies and TV shows to choose from. Now you can watch them for free on any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad!
Because the service supports advertisements, users have to sit through a 30 second pitch before viewing their favorite Seinfeld episode.
Sony’s most recent iOS application also sports a multitude of entertaining films to choose from. Even though current blockbusters are not featured, users can watch Ghostbusters, The DaVinci Code, and dozens of other enjoyable titles.
