In our review of LifeTopix, we wrote, “LifeTopix was great before, but it’s taken amazing strides this year and become a must-own app. The price is shockingly low for such an easy-to-use and powerful app. I can’t imagine living without it now…It would be a stellar deal at twice the price: at just 99 cents, it’s practically grand larceny.”
Given how great LifeTopix is, my expectations for My.Agenda were understandably high. One thing I liked right off the bat was the ability to see what’s on the docket for today, tomorrow, and the next seven days. This is the ideal format for staying focused on what’s important, while also keeping an eye on what’s coming your way.
Upon launch, My.Agenda syncs with your Calendar, Contacts, and Reminders. This makes it very simple to transfer your existing appointments and reminders with the app. However, it does take about a minute to get My.Agenda fully set up, configured, and synced.
It’s worth the wait, of course. I thought LifeTopix had a nice interface, but My.Agenda one-ups LifeTopix in pretty much every way. The UI is sleek, stunning, and marvelously intuitive. I think I prefer it slightly to the UI of LifeTopix, as it feels less crowded.
It’s important to contrast LifeTopix and My.Agenda. According to the App Store, the developers intend for My.Agenda to be “a starter version of LifeTopix, the complete organizer app. My.Agenda allows you to start small, and add what you want.”
