Following the aftermath of the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that devastated northeastern Japan, Apple has set up a donation page on iTunes to assist with fund-raising for the relief effort.
100% of donations made via iTunes go directly to the American Red Cross and their Japanese relief fund. At the moment the donation page is only available to US residents. It’s unclear at this stage whether similar pages will be made available in other countries iTunes stores.
