Angry Birds has reclaimed the #1 spot this week, with last week’s addictive physics puzzler Feed Me Oil slipping down to #8 on the charts. New Zynga title Hanging with Friends received both iPhone Game of the Week and has taken hold of the #2 position. A new update to Pocket God sees its return to the top 5, while Tiny Wings and Angry Birds Rio round out this week’s best selling iPhone games.

#1 Angry Birds

The top selling iPhone game of all time now sports a mind-blowing 225 levels packed full of angry action, as well as leaderboards and achievements and a bunch of social features. With new updates released all the time, Angry Birds is one of few essential iOS titles.

#2 Hanging with Friends

From the team behind Words with Friends comes a brand-new social word game based on the old-school favorite Hangman. #4 Tiny Wings

The amazing work of just one man – Andreas Illiger – Tiny Wings has taken the App Store by force over the past three weeks and continues to dominate the the top of the chart. Tiny Wings is a great example of iPhone gaming done well. Simple to pick up and play, with crisp visuals and a beautiful soundtrack, it’s easy to see why Tiny Wings is still the number one iPhone download.

#5 Angry Birds Rio

The latest (and newly updated) release in the growing Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Rio brings over 100 exotic and challenging bird-launching levels to iPhone and iPad. This time round the Angry Birds crew have been kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janiero, where they promptly escape and set about freeing their exotic tropical buddies Blu and Jewel. A must-have for any Angry Birds fan.
