Hell hath no fury like a Samsung scorned. I’m pretty sure that’s how the saying goes right? It seems Samsung is still quite upset about losing the recent patent battle to Apple. Its taking direct aim at the iPhone 5 in a new Galaxy S 3 ad. “It doesn’t take a genius” is the title of the add and it goes tit for tat on specs for the iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy S III. The ad’s…

One of the most wanted device on the planet right now is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung’s new phablet is obviously coming to the states, but its unclear what carriers will get it and when. The folks over at Phandroid got their hands on some images of what looks the be the Note 2 on Verizon. The pics certainly look legitimate. There are Verizon logos on the front and back as well as an LTE…

If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber and want to use an unlocked iPhone 5 without changing carriers, you’re in luck. T-mobile confirmed plans to make an iPhone 5 compatible nano-sim card available by mid-October via its Twitter account today. TmoNews also acquired some internal T-Mobile documentation basically confirming the iPhone 5 their reason for doing it , stating – “Yes the only phone that currently uses a nano-SIM card is the Apple iPhone 5. No T-Mobile devices require this sim card” This certainly…

I’m just going to get this out of the way right now and say the obvious – HOLY CRAP WE LIVE IN THE FUTURE! Google has released a new Google Glass promo video from Diane von Furstenberg’s Fashion show at fashion week. This isn’t just any old promo video though, the entire video was filmed using only Google Glass! Diane von Furstenberg, several models, and audience members sported Google’s prototype glasses for the event and the result is really cool. We…

Before we start, I’d like to insert the disclaimer that I’m not a fanboy. I love gadgets regardless of their manufacturer or operating system as long as they’re good. I’ve owned an iPhone, iPad, HP veer, HP Touchpad, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, Kindle Fire, Nokia Lumia 900, HTC HD2, and the list goes on. Apple has been a trail blazer in the tech industry for years now. They continually set the bar and then everyone else tries to…

As many of you know, Apple removed its YouTube app starting in iOS 6, much to the dismay of users. Just one day before the rumored iPhone 5 announcement, Google has released an official Iphone YouTube app in the app store. This is actually the first YouTube app for Iphone made by Google as the previous one was made by Apple. You can now have the full YouTube experience without having to go to m.youtube.com. Features include…

Last week hacker group AntiSec claimed that it had got its hands on 12 million Apple device UDIDs. That was scary enough, but Antisec claimed it had gained access to these UDIDs by hacking an FBI laptop. This caused many users and privacy experts to fear that maybe the FBI was collecting UDIDs for wiretapping and surveillance purposes. The FBI promptly denied these allegations and Apple was quick to mention that they provided no such information to the Bureau. A…

Amazon got everyone’s attention a few days ago when they announced 3 new Kindle tablets to the world. The price point and specs of the new Kindle Fire HD line are sure to be a hit with consumers. One thing that seems to have slipped under the radar though, is Amazon’s choice to use Bing as the default search engine across all of its new Kindle Fire models. To some, this may not seem like a really…

That’s right guys and girls you read that correctly. What looks to be an iPhone 5 promo video leaked on youtube earlier today. We aren’t quite sure what to think about it. Its either a carefully crafted fake or the real deal. The video shows a feature rundown of the iPhone 5 including detailed hardware specs. It confirms much of what we know already, but throws out some new possibilities. Most notably a fingerprint sensor built into the…

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is currently working on a Pandora-like music streaming service. There is no ETA, no pricing and rumor has it, Apple is still trying to iron out the licensing details with labels so its safe to say this is still a ways out. The service is set to be available across all of Apple’s devices (Ipad, Iphone, Osx, etc). Now this is all rumor and hearsay at this point, but if you…

Today marked Motorola’s first device unveil event since being purchased by Google earlier this year. Not only are they under new ownership, they are under new management with former Google Exec Dennis Woodside at the helm. Today’s event was touted as a new beginning for the big M and boy did they come out swinging. Motorola unveiled 3 new smartphones – The Droid Razr HD, Droid Razr HD Maxx, and Droid Razr M. Not only…

Its a phone! Its a tablet! The LG Intuition is actually a bit of both. LG is the latest manufacturer to bring the “Phablet” form factor to market. With the success of the Galaxy Note and the buzz surrounding the Galaxy Note 2, who can blame them? The Intuition will set you back $199 on a two year contract and be available from Verizon on September 6th Its a little different than its competitors as it sports a display with a 4:3…
